While the police are still looking for Swami Nithyananda who is believed to be absconding, the official spokesperson for Nityananda Dhyanapeetam ashram told a news agency that the spiritual leader is not in hiding but has gone to attend the Kumbh Mela.The spokesperson, Swami Athmakrubananda also said that Nithyananda would meet the press 'when required'.Two cases of cheating has been filed against the Swamiji for hurting people's religious sentiments and the Chennai police are still searching for him.
