Chota Mumbai which was set in the backdrop of Fort Kochi and Mattancherry area tells the story of a few happy go-lucky fishermen who are into anything for making money. The team is headed by Vasco (Mohanlal), fondly called Thalai by his friends Tamil actor Vijay’s 50th film is titled Sura and is a remake of Mohanlal’s 2007 hit film Chotta Mumbai directed by Anwar Rasheed.
Sources say that the storyline of the film has leaked. It’s heard that ‘Sura’ will be a replica of the Malayalam movie ‘Chotta Mumbai’, director by Anwar Rasheed. Rajkumar had altered the character of the lead role in Vijay’s style. Close circle from Sura’s campus tell that this is a known news to S.A.Chandrasekar.Ilaya Thalapathy’s ‘Sura’ is a giant that attracted a lot of limelight even before its launch.
